“..there is just a tremendous amount of craftsmanship in between a great idea and a great product.   And as you evolve that great idea, it changes and grows.  It never comes out like it starts, because you learn a lot more as you get into the subtleties of it..”  Steve Jobs

Thank you to all who have downloaded pageQlip or have taken a look at what we are trying to do to help you make your information useful!  If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, please click here for the pageQlip iTunes link.

It has been an interesting journey getting to this point, we have learned a ton, and have met some incredible entrepreneurs, developers, and many supporters who have helped us turn an idea into something tangible.

While we we’ve been talking to future users and customers, we were asked why we were even trying to build our product when there are other read later apps in the market. Hands up if you have bookmarked a page or article and never gone back to it? Yup! That’s what we’ve heard.  Our answer was simple; we wanted something that was more useful than just a read later app.

Using pageQlip is taking an old concept built within new mobile technology.  How many of you have found yourselves in a store trying to remember what exactly that product you read about was, or needed to review your financial documents in light of a news article you recently discovered yet lost as a link in hundreds of e-mails?  Using pageQlip is like clipping an ad or article from a newspaper or magazine, to have with you when you need it most.  pageQlip gives you the ability to add personal context to the content you discover.  We want to engage with it on our terms and at our convenience.

With version 1 we have tried to keep the product to its more basic level, but believe there is more we can do.  Just like Mr. Jobs said above, we fully expect the idea will evolve as we move forward. Please don’t hesitate to contact us via email with any feedback.

We hope you enjoy pageQlip and look forward to hearing from you and how you like to use your news!
